"Our Bodies. Our Stories. Our POWER!"
July 13-19, 2026 | Newark, NJ
newarkpride.org
Since it's launch in 2005, the annual Newark Pride Festival has become a highly anticipated event in the region that offers a variety of social, educational, political, and cultural programs for youth, adults, families, and allies. It is 100% produced by volunteers in collaboration with Greater Newark's LGBTQ organizations, local businesses, and private donors. This year we will celebrate 21 years of persistent resilience in the face of adversity.
Visit the Newark Pride website for information and schedule of events.

Newark Pride Fest’s 2026 theme, “Our Bodies. Our Stories. Our POWER!”, is a bold affirmation of autonomy, truth, and collective liberation. It declares that LGBTQ+ people—especially Black, Brown, femme, trans, and gender-expansive communities—are the rightful authors of their own lives. Our BODIES are ours to protect, celebrate, and define. Our STORIES are ours to tell, preserve, and pass on. Our POWER is ours to claim—fully, unapologetically, and without compromise.
