On Monday, October 11 from 6-9PM at ArtFront Galleries, Newark Pride Alliance and Circle of Friends will be hosting a coming out day event, "SANKOFA: A Promise Unkept and Conversation of Renewal, Justice, and Revitalization." This special coming out day event will include a panel discussion moderated by Cheryl Clarke, performances by Empress Vizcaya, Travis Love, Daryl Stewart, and the presentation of student awards.
